Welcome to the website of Design Cuisine. Owned and operated by Andrew Poppelwell Design Cuisine is a new and exciting addition to the Hawkes Bay food scene. Based out of the Hawkes Bay Club, Design Cuisine provides catering services to the club and to private functions throughout the region.
Andrew provides you with 17 years of local and international chefing experience – including chefing for the Michellin rated Gravetye Manor in England, the Millbrook resort in Queenstown and the Michael Fowler Centre and In-House Catering in Wellington.
At Design Cuisine we’re passionate about food. Be it a wedding banquet or a private dinner, a BBQ or a Boardroom lunch – we use the freshest local produce to produce a culinary experience that both tantalises the eye and delights the tastebuds.
Design Cuisine knows that good food is an entire experience – that combines great tastes with presentation, service and atmosphere. We specialise in working closely with our clients to tailor our services to their particular needs. Be that our delicious food delivered to your door, or the co-ordination of the entire event – from securing the venue and organising the flowers right through to selecting the wines and that late night whisky. We can make sure that your event is a delight for both you and your guests.
